Josua Lackhand Erkynlander
Prince of Erkynland. Secretly the son of Sir Camaris sa-Vinitta and Ebekah, the Rose of Hernysadharc, but raised and treated as the son of High King Prester John. Josua's sword is named Naidel; his mistress (later wife) is Vorzheva, daughter of the march-thane Fikolmij. Following the end of the book he, his wife and children after his apparent death disappear and he joins the League of the Scroll, buys Pelippa's Bowl and sets out to find his father.
