History[]

Prior to the Events of The Dragonbone Chair[]

By the events of The Dragonbone Chair she was a great grandmother twenty times over. Her family was one of the largest Niskie families.

Stone of Farewell[]

Gan Itai finds Miriamele and Cadrach who have stowed away on the Eadne Cloud. Though she does not sense them to be a threat, she informs them that her duty is to the Eadne Cloud and that she must report them to the ships master. Said master, Earl Aspitis, takes the princess and the monk on as his guests. Later, the Niskie approaches Aspitis alone and tells him that she is disturbed by the rumblings of a great storm that will soon form. The captain sluffs this warning off and commands the kilpa singer to return to her post.

Miriamele visits the Niskie on deck when she is unable to sleep. She listens to her song, and is mesmerized by its beauty. The two discuss the origins of the Tinukeda'ya, and Gan Itai admits that she quite likes Miriamele and tells her that she can trust in her.

Gan Itai tries to speak to Miriamele about a dream, during which she nearly speaks the Princesses true name, she had in which the princess was in danger, but they are interrupted by Aspitis.

To Green Angel Tower[]

She conveys a note from Cadrach to Miriamele.

She helps Miriamle escape the Aedna Cloud by summoning a Kilpa attack with her singing.

Later it is revealed that Aspitis had her killed for her treachery.
